Survey documentation

Start with the browser-extension study example, or build a short feedback survey.

  1. Define the design. Decide what you will vary and measure in Design.
  2. Define the logic. Plan which pages participants will see, and when, in Flow. Create named, empty groups and pages as you need them.
  3. Define the content. Write the instructions, questions, and answer options in Content.
  4. Test and run. Preview the participant experience, publish a link, then view and export responses.

This order is recommended, not required. You can move between panes at any time. Logic and content often develop together: a branch based on an answer needs its question first.

For numeric ratings and agreement scales, add an ordinal question with optional subtitles and survey-wide direction randomization.

Use the navigation for a task, or search by keyword to find a specific control.
